On Saturday morning I [spielte] football with the school team. In the afternoon Sue and I [halfen] old Mr Kelly at number 12. He can‘t walk upstairs any more. So we [zügelten] some things downstairs for him. We [trugen] his bed downstairs. We [versuchten] to move his wardrobe, too, but it [war] too heavy.

There [war] a good film at the cinema this weekend. We [wollten] to catch the 6.30 bus. We [warteten] for Terry, but he [war] late, (as usual), and we [verpassten] the bus. So we [gingen zu Fuss]‚ but when we [waren] on our way into town, it [begann] to rain. When we [ankamen]‚ we [waren] very wet. But it [war] a good film.

On Sunday it [regnete] again. So I [blieb] at home. I [schaute] a video and [hörte] to the radio. In the evening I [beendete] my homework.
